It all begins with an idea. In 2017, I aimed to create something my wife could wear to work that was lightweight and stylish. At the time, she was in the military and needed a new pair of boots. While I was also in the military, my job provided me with boots, and I could easily obtain boots in her size. However, the boots I received were all leather, extra heavy, and steel-toed. Needless to say, she wasn't happy. She wanted me to do something special for her. That was how the commuter was born.
After the initial sample arrived, I thought two things. First, this was going to be harder than I thought. Second, this is fucking dope, and I believe other people would want these too. Military boots, for the most part, suck. Seriously. And who better to make a pair of boots than someone who has actually worn them for a tactical and combat experience for over 17 years?
